Development and 3D Printing of Guide Components for Advertising Systems

In this project, the client commissioned the development and manufacturing of custom guide components for an advertising display system. The part required high dimensional accuracy, excellent mechanical performance, and repeatable quality because a large production batch was planned.

Our first prototype was produced using FDM 3D printing. Although the part was functional, the surface quality and dimensional precision were not sufficient for the customer’s requirements due to the small size and fine details of the component.

To achieve a better result, we manufactured a new prototype using an SLA 3D printer with durable ABS-Like photopolymer resin. This technology provided significantly smoother surfaces, higher accuracy, and excellent reproduction of small functional features, making the part ready for practical use.

After successful testing and validation, the customer placed an order for a large quantity of identical components. Thanks to additive manufacturing, we were able to ensure consistent quality across every part while reducing production time and avoiding the cost of injection molds.
