Decorative Cube Produced with Resin 3D Printing

In this project, the client requested the development of a decorative cube using 3D modeling and 3D printing. The goal was to create a clean, high-quality object with smooth surfaces and precise geometry.

First, our team designed the 3D model and produced a test print using FDM technology with white PET-G plastic. While this method is suitable for many technical applications, the result showed visible support marks and a less refined surface finish.

To achieve a higher quality result, the part was reprinted using LCD 3D printing with ABS-like photopolymer resin. This technology allows for much smoother surfaces, higher detail resolution, and a more professional appearance.

The final result was a decorative cube with excellent surface quality, uniform finish, and no visible imperfections, making it ideal for design and presentation purposes.

Combining different 3D printing technologies allows us to choose the most suitable method depending on the project requirements, balancing cost, quality, and performance.
