At Print3DEasy, we completed the 3D modeling and printing of a custom profile with a complex cross-section. The part combines a broad central surface, two side walls, and several longitudinal channels arranged around its perimeter.
This project demonstrates how digital design and additive manufacturing can produce technical components with specific shapes, incorporating walls, grooves, and cavities into a single part.
3D Modeling of a Profile with Longitudinal Channels
The cross-section defines the shape of the profile. In this project, the design features an open structure with several edge details: rectangular channels, open slots, and rounded recesses that extend along the length of the component.
