In this project, we manufactured a custom wheel using 3D printing, following a complete reverse engineering workflow. At the customer’s request, we started by scanning the original part with a 3D scanner to capture all dimensions and fine details with high accuracy.
Next, a precise 3D model was created and optimized to ensure durability, strength, and a perfect fit. Using modern 3D printing technologies, the wheel was produced with materials suitable for functional use.
After printing, the wheel was assembled onto the axle, ensuring proper operation and readiness for immediate use. This approach is ideal for custom spare parts, discontinued components, or elements that are difficult to source.
The combination of 3D scanning, modeling, and 3D printing allows accurate reproduction of parts while significantly reducing production time.
