3D Printing and Metal Casting of Custom Marathon Medals

This project showcases the production of custom medals for a marathon event, developed according to the client’s requirements. The process began with the creation of a detailed 3D model based on drawings, sketches, and technical specifications.

Once the digital model was completed, a master model was produced using 3D printing. This master model served as the basis for creating casting molds, ensuring high precision and accurate reproduction of all design elements.

After mold preparation, the medals were manufactured through metal casting, resulting in durable, high-quality pieces with a professional finish. This approach combines the flexibility of 3D modeling with the strength and premium look of metal.

3D printing technology allows for faster production cycles, easy design adjustments, and the ability to create complex shapes that would be difficult to achieve with traditional methods alone. It is ideal for sports events, awards, branded merchandise, and custom souvenirs.
