In this project, we produced a functional expansion wall anchor using advanced 3D printing technology with white ABS-like photopolymer resin. This component is designed for secure wall mounting applications in materials such as concrete, brick, and drywall.
The design features longitudinal slots that allow the anchor to expand when a screw is inserted, as well as internal flexible segments that ensure a firm and reliable grip. Thanks to 3D printing, we were able to accurately reproduce all functional details of the part, including its complex internal geometry.
ABS-like resin provides an excellent balance of strength, rigidity, and durability, making the part suitable for real-world applications. Additionally, 3D printing enables rapid production of custom or replacement parts without the need for molds, significantly reducing lead times and costs.
This project highlights how 3D printing can be effectively used to manufacture precise and functional fastening components with a professional finish, ideal for prototyping, repairs, and custom engineering solutions.
